Dr. Asish B Mathews obtained B.Tech and M.Tech from University of Kerala. He was awarded PhD in Optical Communication from NI Centre for Higher Education in the field of “Novel Distortion Compensated High Dynamic Range Photonic Link”. He was granted a patent “A portable dongle for Cyber Security and Protection” by Comptroller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks, UK granted on 23rd Nov. 2023. He has six Research papers in International Journals including “Microprocessors and Microsystems” published by Elsevier (SCI Indexed Journal) and “IETE Journal of Research” published by Taylor Francis Publication(SCI Indexed Journal). He has attended and submitted papers in Five National and International IEEE Conferences.

Dr. Asish B Mathews is the reviewer of “International Journal of Mobile Communications” published by Inderscience publisher, (SSCI Indexed Journal) and "Optics Continuum" published by Optica Publishing group(SCI Indexed Journal). He is the reviewer and National Advisory committee member of various International Journals like International Conference on Cognitive Robotics and Intelligent Systems 2025, Second International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI) 2024, International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems 2024, International Conference in Renewable Energy and Intelligent Systems, 2024 etc. His research areas include Semiconductor Electronics, Optical Signal Processing, Communication Engineering, Power Electronics and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

He worked as Expert Technical member of the AICTE Text Book Translation for the subject “Instrument Mechanic". Dr. Asish B Mathews was the Expert Member of Conference Committee, University Technology Mara, Malaysia, 2023. He has qualified GATE. He is a professional member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
